You Are My Secret
Can I tell you a secret?
What if I tell you that I write only to believe in you?
Our imaginary love story starts the moment I pick up my pen,
Suddenly, my world transforms into a whimsical dreamscape.
I sketch your angelic face with my words,
As you wrap me closely to you with your loving wings.
I write your imaginary lyrics,
As you serenade me with your soothing symphony.
I compose our epic adventures,
As life takes us on a whirlwind of fantasies.
This dream is too perfect only because my words create this illusory world,
The only reality here is my longing for you to be real.
Will you ever cross our land of make-believe,
Into my world?
Maybe someday we shall find each other,
Until then, I shall keep drawing my dreams with my writings.
I shall write to see you.
I shall write to feel you.
I shall write to caress you.
I shall write to hear you say: I’ve loved you since forever.
I shall write to believe you are there somewhere waiting for me.
Because if I don’t,
I am afraid I will die of a broken heart…
