Depths and Longings
There is always a traveler lost somewhere. Searching, yearning for a touch of magic. Sometimes you are swept into glamorous masquerades or lured by painted fantasies. But, those whispers never seem to quieten until you seek solace from this world.
You run away, into forests and mountains, oceans and waterfalls. Nature’s lulling music awakens you and slowly, you learn to journey within your soul.
And in that moment, you remember me.
You remember how beneath those fluttering eyelashes, you saw me treasuring images of you. And despite those blushing cheeks that resemble a rose garden, you saw me smiling at your mention. And underneath those layers and layers of shrouded mysteries, there are depths and longings.
You see, the soul speaks to us through longings. When you long for something, you build a home for it within you, always painting dreamscapes around it and waiting for the day you will live in its tenderness.
Until then, I’ll send you lots of love and maps to guide you. Because however far you go away, my heart will always be your home.
